Having lived through the worst-case scenario, we have a unique and comprehensive understanding of the fallout a family endures as a result of a line of duty death. While nothing can fully prepare you for a line of duty death there are ways to protect your family and ensure they are provided for if you are unable to do so yourself.
As a first responder planning is your job- you are expected to be prepared, equipped and in control when you show up for someone else's worst day. Have you done that for your own family - have you educated and empowered them to pick up the pieces should the unthinkable happen to you?

- Offer sessions sharing their unique stories from the point of notification to navigating the first months and year of line of duty process and paperwork.
- Share key planning steps and considerations for individuals and departments.
- Offer support to new LODD families by providing information and resources. As well as sharing personal experiences and helping empower families to make decisions that will facilitate healing.
